MID-WEEK ADULT BIBLE STUDY: Join us each Wednesday at 3 pm as we study the Word of God. We begin with a time of worship, followed by a lively discussion about how the Bible applies to everyday living. There's a time for coffee and refreshments as well. No question is off bounds. Past topics have included: "Challenging Lifestyles" by Nicky Gumbel, Christianity 101 and 201, Nehemiah, and the Book of Hebrews.
WOMEN'S SMALL GROUP: At F.B.C., we have a women's small group that meets together to study God's Word, pray for one another, and enjoy fellowship. All ladies are welcome
First Baptist Church is a church in the heart of Perth with a heart for Perth. We care deeply about the town of Perth and continually seek innovative ways to love our neighbours. In the past, we've prepared hundreds of community suppers. We've also provided a large-scale "Party in the Park" at which we provided entertainment, games, and food to approximately 300 people. Our church hosts community groups such as Alcoholics Anonymous, Weight Watchers and the Tay Choir. If you're passionate about sharing the grace and truth of Jesus Christ within the local community, please get involved and share your creative ideas with us.
F.B.C. is passionate about world missions and evangelism. We sponsor many worthy causes including: The Angel Tree (a children's ministry); Soucy and Kenny missionary families; Kingston Community Chaplaincy (a prison ministry); Mercy Ships (a medical ministry for developing countries). We partner with Canadian Baptist Ministries (CBM) on a wide range of missional initiatives.
At F.B.C., we're passionate about relationships because people matter deeply to God. Join us on Monday mornings at 9:30 am for coffee hour and our weekly art group. You can stroll through our library any time to go deeper in your Christian faith. Our P.E.P. (People Energizing People) group organizes lots of great social outings throughout the year. And it's not uncommon for a group of us to head off to a thought-provoking movie during the week. Come as you are, and expect to receive grace, hope, and joy in our midst
